Google Ads Performance Max India: Expanded Reporting Brings Deeper Cross-Channel Insights

NEW DELHI — October 10, 2025
Google Ads Performance Max India has received a major update, introducing expanded reporting features that give advertisers deeper asset and channel insights. This new rollout empowers marketers to optimise their campaigns across Search, Display, YouTube, Discover, Gmail, and Maps, driving better performance and ROI.
Google Ads has introduced new Performance Max reporting features for advertisers in India, offering asset-level and channel-level data that improves visibility and strategic decision-making for cross-platform campaigns.

Asset & Channel-Level Data
With the update, advertisers can now access detailed reports at the asset group and channel level, including metrics such as impressions, clicks, conversions, and cost per conversion. This allows brands to identify top-performing creative elements, remove underperformers, and shift budgets towards higher-performing channels.
For example, marketers can now compare how headlines, images, and videos perform individually — and view performance across platforms like YouTube versus Search — all within the Google Ads dashboard.
Why It Matters for Indian Advertisers
India’s digital advertising industry continues to grow rapidly, with brands of all sizes using automated campaigns like Google Ads Performance Max to reach audiences. This new reporting structure gives agencies and in-house teams more transparency and control, making it easier to justify ad spend, optimise creative assets in real time, and align campaigns with SEO strategies.
“This enhancement gives agencies and in-house teams the data they need to justify spends and optimise creative assets in real time,” said Rohit Menon, Head of Digital at AdStack India.
How to Access the New Reports
Advertisers in India can access these new insights by:
- Opening their Performance Max campaign in Google Ads.
- Going to the Insights tab.
- Selecting either Asset group breakdown or Channel breakdown to view the performance data.
Google has confirmed that this feature is rolling out throughout October 2025 and will be available to all Indian advertisers by the end of the month.
SEO & Marketing Implications
The expanded reporting helps Indian SEO and digital marketing teams work more closely together. By analysing top-performing ad assets, they can:
- Optimise landing pages for better Quality Score.
- Identify high-converting keywords and use them in content strategy.
- Find content gaps where paid campaigns perform well but organic visibility is weak.
This bridges the gap between paid and organic strategies, ultimately improving overall performance of Google Ads Performance Max India campaigns.
